At PipsPRO (owned and operated by Drevii), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Offline-First Philosophy

PipsPRO is designed with an “offline-first” architecture. We believe your financial calculations, risk management models, and trading strategies are private:

  • Local Storage: All trading calculations, lot sizes, risk assessments, strategy presets, trade journal notes, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using a secure, offline Room database.
  • No Cloud Sync of Private Data: We do not transmit your trade logs, account balance inputs, financial projections, or simulation results to external servers. Your bankroll data remains under your exclusive control.

2. Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal identification (such as your name or postal address) to use our core calculators.

A. Data You Provide

  • Support Queries: If you contact us via email (contact@drevii.com.ng), we collect your email address and message contents to respond to your inquiry and provide technical support.

B. Technical Data (Third-Party SDKs)
To display advertisements and deliver optional trading reminders, we integrate standard third-party SDKs that may collect technical identifiers as required for their functionality:

  • Google AdMob: Displays advertisements. AdMob may collect Advertising IDs (e.g., Android Advertising ID), IP addresses, and device metrics to serve non-intrusive ads, prevent fraud, and provide analytics.
  • OneSignal: Delivers opt-in push notifications (e.g., weekday trading reminders). OneSignal collects Device Tokens, IP addresses, and device specifications for notification routing and delivery verification.

3. How We Use Information

We process limited technical data to:

  • Ensure the stability and performance of the calculation engine.
  • Deliver weekday trading reminders (only via user opt-in).
  • Display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob to keep core utility tools free for all users.
  • Respond to direct user support queries.

4. Data Safety & Deletion Rights

In compliance with Google Play Data Safety requirements, we provide the following controls:

  • Right to Deletion: You have full control over your data. You can permanently delete all locally stored records (Trade Journal, History, and Presets) at any time by clearing the “App Data” in your Android System Settings or by uninstalling the PipsPRO application.
  • Advertising Controls: You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time via your device’s Google Settings (Privacy > Ads).

5. Third-Party Policy Links

PipsPRO integrates trusted third-party SDKs and service providers to support distribution, analytics, advertising, and market feeds. These third parties may collect non-personally identifiable or pseudonymized information according to their own privacy policies:

  1. Google Play Services & App Store: For app distribution, updates, and framework dependencies.
  2. Google AdMob: Serves banner and interstitial advertisements in free app tiers. AdMob may process your Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, and interaction data to serve, measure, or limit ads.
  3. Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google Cloud): Helps us diagnose technical crashes, monitor app performance, and analyze aggregate feature usage (e.g., most viewed session timers). No journal entries, trade notes, or prices are ever sent to Firebase.
  4. OneSignal (or Android System Notification Manager): Delivers local/push notification triggers scheduled by the user.
  5. Market Data Proxy APIs (Twelve Data, Open ER API, Fawaz Ahmed CDN, Fair Economy): Serves public market rates and economic calendar schedules. No personal user data is transmitted to market data APIs.

6. Children’s Privacy

PipsPRO is designed for general audiences interested in financial markets and is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” timestamp.
