1. Privacy-First Architecture & Local Data Storage
MarketOPEN is built around a Privacy-First, Offline-Capable Architecture. You do not need to create an account or provide personal credentials to use the App.
Information Stored Locally on Your Device:
- Trading Journal & Logbook: Trade notes, entry/exit levels, screenshots, strategy context, trade results, and personal lessons.
- Calculator Inputs & History: Saved pip calculations, lot sizing configurations, and risk parameters.
- Checklists & Pre-Market Rules: Customized trading checklists and completed daily prep items.
- Watchlist & User Preferences: Selected currency pairs, notification thresholds, theme settings, and session options.
Data Ownership: All user-entered trading data, journal entries, and calculator metrics remain 100% local on your physical device. We do not upload, mirror, transmit, sell, or hold access to your trading journal or financial strategies on any remote server.
2. Information Collected Automatically & Network Fetching
When using online features (such as live currency strength rates, economic calendar updates, or market pulse feeds), the App communicates with remote servers.
A. Technical & Network Information
When the App connects to data endpoints, standard web request logs may automatically collect:
- IP Address: Used for approximate geographic routing and server security rate-limiting.
- Device & System Information: Device model, operating system version, app version, language setting, and screen resolution.
- Request Timestamps: Date and time of API sync requests.
B. Device Permissions Disclosed
MarketOPEN requests only necessary permissions required for core app functions:

- Google AdMob: Serves banner and interstitial advertisements in free app tiers. AdMob may process your Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, and interaction data to serve, measure, or limit ads.

4. Google Play Data Safety & Data Deletion Compliance
In strict compliance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies and Apple App Store Review Guidelines (Section 5.1):
