MarketOPEN (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and safeguarded when you use the MarketOPEN mobile application (the “App”) and our website (https://drevii.com.ng).

By downloading, accessing, or using MarketOPEN, you acknowledge the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Privacy-First Architecture & Local Data Storage

MarketOPEN is built around a Privacy-First, Offline-Capable Architecture. You are not required to create an account, register, or provide personal identification (such as your name or postal address) to use the App.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device:

  • Trading Journal & Logbook: Trade notes, entry/exit levels, screenshots, strategy context, trade results, and personal lessons.
  • Calculator Inputs & History: Saved pip calculations, lot sizing configurations, and risk parameters.
  • Checklists & Pre-Market Rules: Customized trading checklists and completed daily prep items.
  • Watchlist & User Preferences: Selected currency pairs, notification thresholds, theme settings, and session options.

Data Ownership: All user-entered trading data, journal entries, and calculator metrics remain 100% stored on your local physical device using a local database. We do not upload, mirror, transmit, sell, or hold access to your personal trading journal or financial strategies on remote servers.

2. Information Collected Automatically & Lawful Bases (GDPR / US Privacy)

When you use online features (such as live currency rates, economic calendar updates, or market feeds) or view ads, standard technical data is processed.

Under the EU GDPR and applicable US privacy laws, we process technical data under the following legal bases:

  • Managing or Revoking Consent: You can modify or withdraw your consent preferences at any time inside the App Settings under “Privacy & Ad Consent Settings”, or by clearing the App data on your device.
  • Device Settings: You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads on Android or Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on iOS).

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We integrate trusted third-party SDKs to support distribution, performance monitoring, push notifications, and advertising:

5. International Data Transfers

Third-party service providers (such as Google and OneSignal) may transfer, store, or process technical identifiers in the United States and other countries outside the EEA/UK. Where transfers occur, providers rely on adequacy decisions, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

6. Your Rights Under European Laws (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you reside in the EEA or United Kingdom, you hold the following rights:

  1. Right of Access & Portability: You can export your full trading journal locally via the built-in “Export CSV” feature.
  2. Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can clear all local app records at any time. For technical logs, contact contact@drevii.com.ng.
  3. Right to Rectification: You can update or edit your trading records directly inside the App.
  4. Right to Restrict or Object to Processing: You can object to processing based on legitimate interests or revoke ad consent via app settings.
  5. Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to file a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority (DPA) if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.

7. Your Rights Under US State Privacy Laws (CCPA / CPRA & State Laws)

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Virginia, or other applicable US states, you have specific rights under US privacy laws:

  • No Selling of Personal Information: We do not sell your personal information or trading records for monetary value.
  • Sharing for Targeted Advertising: We may share pseudonymized advertising identifiers (AAID) with Google AdMob for targeted ads, subject to your consent/opt-out preferences.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising: You can opt out at any time via the UMP consent form inside the App or via your Android/iOS system ad settings.
  • Sensitive Personal Information: We do NOT collect or process Sensitive Personal Information (SPI) such as financial account credentials, precise geolocation, or biometric data.
  • Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

8. Data Retention & User-Driven Deletion

  • Local App Storage: Your trade journal, checklists, and preferences remain on your device indefinitely until you manually clear app data (Settings > Apps > MarketOPEN > Storage > Clear Data) or uninstall the App.
  • Technical Server Logs: Proxy server logs (IP addresses, request headers) are retained for security audit and rate-limiting purposes for a maximum of 30 days before automatic deletion.
  • Data Deletion Requests: You may request deletion of support correspondence or remote technical logs by emailing contact@drevii.com.ng. Requests are processed within 30 days.

9. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

MarketOPEN is intended for general audiences aged 18 and older interested in financial market education and trading discipline. MarketOPEN does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). If we learn that a child under 13 has submitted personal data, we will take immediate steps to delete it.

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical precautions to safeguard data. Network transmissions are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Because your trading journal is stored physically on your device, its security depends on your device’s security controls (passcodes, PINs, biometrics, and storage encryption).
